Yanks or Prussians are my choice, but yes as agreed Martin & Brian to chose first if we go for this. Of course it also depends on TTN and if they want us to demo it and what they have for us to borrow.

OK guys so regardless of if we are asked or not I think this one could be some fun to play and the models are all fantastic. So Martin has unfurled the Union Flag, Brian is Rising with the Sun, Jon will be a Yankee Doodle Dandy and I shall be Prussian about !!!

Ha Ha! Well... I thought Steve's comments were funny! Some nice, gentle humour to start the day! As has been said, I think this looks good enough for us to explore wether we get asked to demo it or not! I'm keeping a watch out for the free, downloadable quick-start rules...... can't be long to wait surely!?

I have approached Spartan asking them as JAG for a copy of the rules. I also emailed TTN last night and mentionef this game as one to demo. Watch this space.

Funnily enough, have recently been debating picking up some of Warlords Colonnial British for Black Powder, mainly as a painting project not to game with. The Britannia chaps look strikingly similar.

I would not be averse to converting a few of those if I need larger numbers of troops for DL...... It's all in the 'planning stage' at the moment!

Well 6 models in the Britannica section is £15, for £20 you can get 20 plastic Infantry and four officers from Warlord, obviously the weapons/steampunk will be different on the models, but if you're on a budget it's a no brainer!

I've had a closer look at the Warlord Anglo-Zulu Wars British infantry figures, as suggested by Chris..... Being multi-part plastic, these will lend themselves beautifully to being converted into KoB troops! I will probably utilise a few parts from the Imperial Guard sprues! If anyone has similar suggestions to boost the other armies, like Perry ACW for the FSA!? We'd like to hear about it! Plastic figures would be ideal..... SO much easier to convert!!

Check the size before you do this mate as the DL figures may well be 32mm and not 28mm.
