I'd suggest self flagellation, but that just makes Martin go a funny colour when he finds out he wasn't invited.....

I'm always flogging myself for one thing or another! (metaphorically speaking!) I've seen some nice armed Nuns that I've taken a shine to... both '40k' style and 'Warhammer' style. A company called Brother Vinni in Russia is doing some VERY nice fantasy sculpts including a very non-PC group of female jungle fighters! So you will be pleased to note that I'm still keeping up my 'research duties' on your behalf lads!! (y)

Careful pal, you'll send yourself cross eyed one day!
You'll have to link the 40k nuns, the official Adeptas Sororitas are crazy expensive nowadays, £50 for a basic tactical squad.

I managed to pick up some Sisters of Battle on eBay and filled in the 'gaps' with an order from GW. The joy of the ItEN system is that I don't need many figs..... thank goodness! I have 10 Battle Sisters and 5 Seraphim which should be more than enough at the points level we are currently playing at. For just under the 250 point limit I can field 7 reasonably tooled-up Sisters, with enough flexibility to expand on that when needed. I can also use them in an Inquisitorial Squad......

Things always seem to get a bit quieter during the school holidays..... outings with family etc. take priority. We DO seem to be taking a bit of a break from frantic figure painting atm..... and playing some light-hearted board games when we can find the time! I'm still keeping up my 'research' and filing away useful pictures for painting reference..... Also I'm working on some 'prop' pistols for my collection. Sometimes a break from our 'normal' activities does wonders for restoring our creative 'juices'!

Gaming-wise, we have been trying out Rivet Wars..... great fun and no need to paint the figures! Heroes of Normandie was also a blast! I'm still doing odd sets of figures to put away/display for future game scenarios. I have 19 St Trinian's-style figures that are fun to do! Most of the time atm has been spent doing some 'neglected' modelling projects.... Some Hasegawa egg planes are currently on the bench! The ideal antidote for the stress of 'proper' modelling! Lol!

Chris you must have enough to do without any gaming these days !
As for us as Martin says, Heroes of Normandie and Rivet Wars are currently the games in flavour. Still have my FoW army that I am still painting so slow progress there and I am also still working on my French force for Muskets & Tomahawks. We don't get together very often these days what with Brian being over in Silver End, Jon doing shifts so just Martin and I are the regulars now and then.
