Carnevale, a new game in the Steampunk stable from Vesper On Games.
This game is set in the year 1795 in Venice after a apocalyptic happening that sunk most of southern Italy (I know some people might not see that as a bad thing ;D ). Anyway the game is skirmish based with small crews such as Patricians, which are impoverished nobles. You have action points available to carry out certain moves/actions per turn and their is plenty of close combat/shooting and magic thrown in to the mix too.
The models they produce are very nice, well detailed and have no flash to remove which is great.
Do yourselves a favour and get a look at this excellent game at Vesper On Games website.

Busy painting up the Patricians crew at the moment. Nice models with plenty of detail. Will post up to our FB page when I have a few done.

Been studying the rules pdf..... complex but not complicated as they say! So far so good, no trouble getting my head around this! I see it as Malifaux meets Space Hulk with a hint of EotD!

Shame this game didnt get the following or love it could have deserved in the UK gaming market. I think however that the game mechanics whereby they were trying for a cinematic feel fell flat as you cant really get the affect of someone running along then double jumping to make an attack from behind without the correct scenery, and that sort of scenery would mean that you wouldnt actually be able to get in to move figures etc.
