Dreadfleat is Games Workshops Answer to naval warfare. Designed by Phil Kelly and can potentially cater for up to 10 players with a ship each, very much a game in a box, as it comes with everything you need for a great night of gaming. I have played this game with friends a fair few times and it certainly lends itself to a great game. Very open play game and you can create your own scenarios with it, very much a "sandbox" type game.
Being "undead minded" i tend to go for the Dreadfleet led by Count Noctilus, captain of the Bloody Reaver and his bunch of evil misfits. Or of course if your like everone else you will take control of The Grand Alliance, and The Heldenhammer captained by Jaego Roth.
Very enjoyable game. Happy to endulge any time!

It's amazing what you get in the box! The ship models, although requiring building and painting, are all different and completely unique! The quality and detail is first-class! ;D No corners have been cut in the presentation of this game! I believe that Battlefoam had produced a laser-cut foam insert to fit the box with specific slots for everything! I'm not sure that I follow the logic of the "Limited Edition" tactic with items this big........ maybe Dreadfleet was something of a gamble!? It didn't seem to fly off the shelves as fast as 3rd edition Space Hulk! It's definitely another thing to watch for on e-Bay! I thoroughly enjoyed playing it..... and look forward to doing so again! ;D
