So as some know I have a growing Fallschirmjager army for Bolt Action and today I just ordered 2cm flakvierling quad AA and the Sd.Kfz 234/2 Puma Armoured Car. These will be great additions to my German army with which to crush the flimsy allied advance.

I've always been fascinated by German tanks since being taken to Bovington Tank Museum when I was little! So it was inevietable that my second army for Bolt Action was going to be German! I love the Warlord plastic German Infantry set.... might take me longer to clean up, assemble and paint than metal figs but the finished troops have an individuality that pleases me! The detail is superb, making painting a joy and one box is enough to make a 'legal', battle-ready force! Of course, any Commander worth his salt is going to want some extra goodies; an armoured-car (tiny tank!), a half-track, maybe a Kubelwagen and, naturally, a TANK! (at least one!)

Going to get some Warlord vehicles to bulk out my winter camo germans from Artizan Waiting on the German army book I've got on pre-order though, as i'm also looking at buying some early war squads from Warlord to do some invasion of Poland scenarios. With those finished and Perry releasing plastic Afrika Korps sometime in the next year, i'm hoping to be able to field British and German forces from all phases of the war.
