So, Rick Priestly and the chaps at Warlord are remaking WH40K without the ridiculous price hikes and dodgy back story that's infested 40k over the last 6 years or so (God damn Matt Ward >.<) Don't know about the rest of you, but I'm really looking forward to what they're going to do. Warpath didn't scratch the itch for me (similarly Kings of War didn't scratch my Warhammer Fantasy itch) mainly due to how wound allocation didn't remove models, it just felt wrong! Having sold off all my GW miniatures except for my LotR, I'm really feeling some old fashioned large scale Sci Fi at some point in the coming year. It's going to be the year for Infinity, Bolt Action, LotR and Napoleonics for me this year, so all small scale stuff. Going to do lot's of saving to jump right in with this at the end of the year unless it looks awful in the end.
